Psychologist - Collaborative Coach - Co-parenting Counseling

Howard Drutman, Ph.D.  is a psychologist who specializes in clinical and forensic psychology. He is affiliated with the Atlanta Behavioral Consultants. He specializes in working with couples and families as they go through divorce and post divorce co-parenting. Dr. Drutman also provides divorce-related forensic services such as parent coordination, co-parenting counseling, collaborative divorce coaching, psychological child custody evaluations, parental fitness evaluations, alcohol and drug abuse evaluations, and expert testimony regarding divorce and the best interest of the child.   

Dr. Drutman’s writings have been published in The Family Lawyer (Atlanta Bar Association), The Family Law Review (Georgia Bar Association, Family Law Section), and other professional publications. He also gives presentations several times a year to state and family bar associations, including the State Bar of Georgia, as well as to national conferences.  Dr. Drutman’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and APA Division 41, American Psychology-Law Society. He is also a founding member of the Atlanta Collaborative Divorce Alliance.  

Dr. Drutman is the author of Divorce: The Art of Screwing Up Your Children, a satirical, yet serious book about ways to protect your children from the emotional aftereffects of divorce.
